Crafter Electric Guitars

Crafter is a manufacturer of guitars best known for their range of  acoustic guitars. They have also produced a number of electric guitars.

It seems their electric guitars haven’t seen as much success as their acoustic counterpart but they are built with Crafter quality and are a suitable choice of instrument for players of all abilities.

All of Crafter’s electric guitars are very affordable entry-level instruments aimed at beginner guitarists and players new to the electric guitar.

What to expect from Crafter Electric Guitars

Crafter electric guitars are designed as entry-level guitars and are really aimed at beginners. If you aren’t a beginner and are looking for an instrument to upgrade from your prior guitar then Crafter electric guitars probably aren’t the best option for you.

If you want to learn electric guitar for the first time, have a child that wants to or know someone that does then Crafter would make an ideal first guitar for you/them.

A Crafter guitar would make an ideal present based on its affordability.

Things to consider when buying your first guitar

  • The size – You don’t need much from your first guitar but choosing a suitable size and shape is important. For teenagers and adults a full size guitar is recommended. For children a ¾ size guitar will be much more manageable
  • The shape – Spiky and extreme shaped guitars can be impractical and uncomfortable to play sitting down so often they might not be the best option for a beginner
  • Amplifier – With an electric guitar you need an amplifier to play it properly. If your guitar didn’t come with one a number of small affordable practice amps are easily available
