SONOR Snare Drums

SONOR drums were developed in the 1800s in Germany when a trained wood worker started to develop drumsfor military bands.

The brand grew to a worldwide status and is now a prominent name in rock, funk and percussion music.

  • Artist Series snare drums - characterised by their smart appearance, these snare drums are often used by brass bands. Some models in this collection are made from 24 carat gold and bronze, plus black chrome. They use a dual glide system for a smoother use
  • Signature snare drums - referred to as the ‘big 5’, SONOR defines these drums as the loudest and most prominent drums in their range. Each of them have unique designs and their own individual sounds which bring a maximum volume to your drumming
  • Phonic Re-Issue snare drums - the outer shell is made of beech wood and plated with chrome with a thickness of 10.5mm

  • When they are not in use, drums need to be taken apart, with the screws loosened at the joins and the stands folded up to be placed into bags
  • Carry your drums carefully to avoid knocking them against walls to avoid getting parts of your drum indented or chipped
