About Dakine Split Roller
Dakine (Derived from Da Kine, Hawaiian for 'The Wind') designs and manufactures sportswear and sports equipment. Founded in Hawaii in 1979, and now a subsidiary of Billabong, Dakine is a familiar brand to many extreme sports practitioners, creating equipment for sports as varied as skiing, biking, kiting, surfing and skateboarding.
As well as sportswear and equipment, Dakine also manufactures a wide variety of bags to hold specific items of equipment such as boots, bikes, surfboards and paddles. In addition, they also have a range of conventional duffle bags, laptop bags, messenger bags and wallets, as well as a luxury line of luggage.
Their series of split roller luggage cases come in a variety of different designs and patterns. Dakine split roller cases are large, yet easy to use. With two separate cases, they allow easy access to contents, without sacrificing capacity. As well as space inside the main body of the case, they also feature external pockets and zipper cars, allowing for storage of smaller items which may be more readily needed, such as cosmetic kits or medication.
Larger 100 litre bags weigh 5kg, and have replaceable urethane wheels as well as a retractable handle, making sure that the case takes up minimal space and making it easier to fit into compartments, whether you are travelling by car, plane, or train. Made of durable polyester, the bag provides a good level of protection for its contents, especially when softer items of luggage are stored towards the edges of the case.
