About Dri Buddy
The DriBuddi is an alternative to a tumble-drier that is purportedly cheaper to run. JML is the company that created the DriBuddi. JML claims that not only is the DriBuddi cheaper but it?s also better for the environment and better for clothes.
Users of the DriBuddi say that it reduces the need for ironing clothes, as wrinkles tend to drop out in the heat tent created by the cover. There is no risk that clothes will shrink during the drying process.
JML also claim that electricity use is reduced by around 65%, compared to tumble-driers, however clothes do take quite a long time to dry off in a DriBuddi. Instructions say that you can dry up to 10 kg clothing which is around 18 separate garments, however the more full you keep the DriBuddi, the longer it will take to perform.
The DriBuddi comes with a timer, so if you know how long it will take for clothes to dry, you can simply set the clock and return when the time is up.
When the DriBuddi is fully extended and its leg stands are used, it stands at approximately 160 cm in height and about 65 cm across. This makes it reasonably compact, even if you haven?t much room in your home. When you have finished with it, just pack it away in a cupboard or behind the sofa.
The 1200w motor is relatively quiet; although JML claim that it is ?whisper-quiet?, some users report that it is about as loud as a hairdryer.
