A lightweight device, the Sony Ericsson K800i is the first phone that successfully combines Sony's Cyber-Shot brand camera with a mobile device. It measures a compact 105 by 47 by 22 mm and weighs a mere 115 g. The 3.2 MP camera features autofocus, BestPic shooting mode, and image stabilisation technology to ensure quality shots that it takes in a 2048x1536-pixel resolution, suitable for print.

The K800i has 3G technology, which provides a smooth video calling and streaming experience. With the help of the small joystick located below the screen, users can also browse the internet, navigate menus, and edit photographs with ease. The phone can connect to Bluetooth, infrared, and USB capable devices to share music, video, and photographs. The phone has 64 MB of internal memory, but it also comes with a 1 GB M2 micro memory stick. On average, the battery powers 420 minutes of talk time and 350 hours of standby.
