About Konica Pop

Konica Pop is a 32mm camera which was first released in 1982. The camera was hugely popular and sold over 1.5 million units globally. The product was renowned for simplifying photography for the amateur and was also competitively priced.

It has a single shutter speed and fixed focus while the film used in the device is advanced wound on manually. The camera is equipped with a built-in flash mechanism and also features a controlled auto-exposure function. The flash mechanism pops up whenever it is used and hence the name – Konica Pop. The device also has a close-up flash shots function while the aperture is altered accordingly.

The above collection from eBay features several models of Konica Pop cameras for interested buyers. The camera was originally released in black but is also available in shades of blue, red and metallic silver. They are powered by 2 AA batteries.
