About Pride Go Go Elite Travellers
Pride is a globally recognised and highly respected authority on the design and manufacture of mobility solutions for disabled and otherwise impaired people. Established and based in the USA, the company has developed a truly international presence with offices all over the world, in Canada, Europe, the UK, and Australia. By these means they have established an extremely high level of trust in the marketplace - part of a sustained effort toward reassuring their vulnerable customers of the reliability of their products.
One of Pride's most widely popular product ranges has been their Go-Go Travel range of mobility scooters, of which the Go-Go Elite Traveller has been a particular favourite.
Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, this scooter is nonetheless both robust and stable outdoors, with a reliable electronic, regenerative and electro-mechanical braking system.
All models come with a choice of either three or four wheels, the latter being marginally larger at just over a metre in length. There is no weight difference, though, with all models weighing in at just 125kg. Battery life depends on whether its a 12 or 17 amp model, but both have the same top speed of a moderate 4 mph, just over the average pedestrian walking speed.
Seats are a comfortable and foldable vinyl-covered plastic, and additional options on all models include a cup holder, rear basket, crutch and/or walker holders, and a saddlebag. On both the 12 Amp 3 Wheel and the 17 Amp 4 Wheel models, there is the further option to install a forearm crutch holder and, on the latter, a cane clip attachment as well.
For the 12 Amp 4 Wheel model, buyers can choose from among a wide range of colours, including yellow, green, orange, pink, purple, and grey, as well as the standard red or blue.
