About Samsonite Firelite
The Firelite is made with a material that is exclusive to Samsonite, called Curv. The material, manufactured by a German company, is made up of woven polypropylene sheets. These sheets are put under extreme levels of heat and then moulded to create tough, lightweight shells. The material is considered to be environmentally friendly, as well as being extremely flexible and strong. Aimed at frequent travellers, the durable material can keep any luxury goods safe from harm, no matter what sort of activities you throw at the case.
Coming in a range of sizes, from 55 centimetres through to 81 centimetres, there is a Firelite to suit any traveller's needs. Packing is made extremely easy with the interior zip up compartments, meaning you can access your belongings without having to completely unpack everything you have brought with you. There are two handles integrated in to the bag, one that extends from the top and allows you to use the wheels for ease of transportation, and another on the side for lifting and short-term movement.
The Firelite is manufactured by Samsonite, an American manufacturer of all sorts of luggage products. Proving they know how to make quality luggage and storage items, they also make cases for small toiletries and professional briefcases amongst many other things. Jesse Shwayder first set up the company in 1910 - he called the first case he made the Samson, it's thought he did so because of the religious connection. In 1966 the company changed the name, which was the Shwayder Trunk Manufacturing Company, to Samsonite.
