Sharp is the one of the largest television manufacturer in the world, the third Japanese brand on top of that branch of electronics, along with Sony and Panasonic. LCD panels, solar panels, mobile phones, audio-visual entertainment equipment, video projectors, Multi-Function Printing Devices, microwave ovens, air conditioners, cash registers, CMOS and CCD sensors, and flash memory are among Sharp's wide array of products and core techonologies, and everyone has fond memories with a Sharp radio crooning or blasting in the background.
Sharp's Aquos televisions are praised for their intuitive user interface that is delightful to use, excellent colour accuracy, picture brightness and surprisingly good audio. Aquos has a "wallpaper mode" that loads artwork to display when you turn off the telly. The paintings are realistic and a lovely sight.
