About Viktor Rolf Spicebomb
Viktor & Rolf is a fashion house that was founded in 1993 in Amsterdam. Created by Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, the brand is known not only for its craftsmanship, but for its showmanship too.
Originally specialising in fashion, their first women's perfume - Flowerbomb - was developed in 2005, with Antidote - their first men's fragrance - launched the following year. Spicebomb was released in January 2012, and was their second men's fragrance to be launched. Designed to be the male version of the female Flowerbomb fragrance, the Spicebomb bottle was designed to resemble a hand grenade.
As would be expected from the name, Viktor & Rolf's Spicebomb fragrance is a masculine scent that includes a range of spices. A refined fragrance, it is a cocktail of both spice and freshness, containing notes of chilli and saffron, leather and tobacco, vetiver and the zestiness of grapefruit and bergamot.
Bottles of Viktor & Rolf's Spicebomb are available in a range of sizes, with a range of men's toiletries with the same scent designed to accompany the fragrance. The Spicebomb range also includes products such as a lightly fragranced Spicebomb shower gel, in addition to an after shave balm and a deodorant.
Unlike its overly floral counterpart, Flowerbomb, Spicebomb is a heady and explosive fragrance, featuring a number of contrasting scents. However much they contrast, these scents all work well together to create a men's fragrance that is not only elegant and refined, but one that is also rough and strong.
