Enabling duplication of copy-protected material policy overview

Sellers can't list any items that enable people to duplicate copy-protected materials like Blu-Ray, CDs, DVDs, video games, software, or any similar media format. Also, sellers can't encourage the use of items designed to bypass copy-protection measures.

Make sure your listings and products follow these guidelines. If they don't, they may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

What are the guidelines?

Why does eBay have this policy?

We require our members to follow all laws and regulations. Since the duplication of copy-protected materials is against the law, regulated, or may cause harm to our members, sellers can't list items on eBay that encourage such duplication.
