As a seller, you can only leave positive feedback for buyers. This aligns with industry standards, as businesses do not typically have the option to leave a public review of their customers. You can leave feedback for up to 90 days from when the transaction was completed.
If you think a buyer has breached any of our policies, please report a buyer - opens in new window or tab to let us know. Bear in mind that leaving a positive feedback rating with a negative comment can cause confusion for other members and will therefore be removed.
How to leave feedback for buyers
Follow these steps to leave feedback:
- In Seller Hub - opens in new window or tab or My eBay - opens in new window or tab, navigate to Selling, then Orders.
- Choose the item(s), then select Leave feedback.
- Select Positive, enter a comment, then Leave feedback.

If you think feedback you received goes against our Feedback policy, you can request removal through Seller Help - opens in new window or tab.
How to add a follow-up feedback comment
You can't change feedback you left for a buyer, but you can add extra comments. Find the feedback you left, and select Follow up on the right side of the page.
Once you leave a follow-up comment, it will appear directly below the original feedback comment you left for the buyer. You can only leave one follow-up, and you can't edit or retract it.
