- e***n (546)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchase4 types of bilge pump later and finally a winner!! This is being used to keep an outboard slashwell trough clear. Normal electric bilges with a float switch activate at ranges between 51mm and 37mm, all of which are above my engine's transom bolts and leave them submerged which over time could rot the transom. This pump drained down to about 10mm within minutes. I can now happily leave her on a mooring. FYI I use an auto 12v pump for normal bilge clearance.
