The AVR-2807 incorporates all the current surround sound formats and eases installation flexibility, making setting it up easy. This product provides Auto Set-Up and Room EQ by Audyssey, helping users achieve optimised system performance for a specific room. With the accompanying microphone placed at up to six listening positions, the powerful new 32-bit floating point DSP automatically and accurately analyses, adjusts and sets the speaker configuration of your system. In addition, the Pure Direct mode was designed for those who want the ultimate in sonic quality by shutting down all unused circuitry for the cleanest and most precise stereo sound from any audio component in your system. A host of other key features is worth mentioning, such as the receiver's multi-zone audio capabilities, two assignable 12-volt trigger outputs, RS-232 port for computer-controlled touch screen operation and 200 ms audio delay for precise synchronization between image and soundtrack. If you are searching for a receiver to be the centrepiece and controller of an elaborate A/V system, the AVR-2807 has been proven to deliver optimum performance.
