Bought this jack to replace a smaller alloy one that broke. This jack is light enough and rolls well, but the handle is 6 inches too long and hard to use in a smaller space. It's not quick to raise the car either, seemingly needing more pumps than should be necessary. It is low enough to go under the sills and suspension but I always use a rubber pad (ice hockey puck) as the rubber is too thin on the face of the lifting plate. The biggest issue in use is the side-to-side sway that the jack seems to have. You can rock the car for and aft and the silver jack sides sway. If the car isn't jacked up absolutely square it's quite apparent and a bit worrying. I'm almost at the point of asking for it to be upgraded to the next weight, but at 1.8 tonnes it should be man enough to do the job. I've worked on cars for 30+years and never used a jack I felt so nervy about. I would use it at the race track for wheel changes as I can man-handle it about.Read full review

Ideal jack for trackdays with a small car. Seems well made, but not too heavy to lift in and out of a car or van.
