      Did the job

      Pleased with my purchase, did the job I siphoned a gallon into a can for use with the lawnmower. Only problem was the red tubes were slightly flattened by the way it was packed. Softening the plastic in hot water or sunshine helps. Arrived fairly quickly in these worst of times.

      Don’t buy this to drain fuel from a car

      I may be unfair in my rating as I have been unable to use it on my car as intended. Modern cars have an anti siphon block so for me this was a wasted purchase. I hope this review will prevent unnecessary purchases. Removing fuel from a car is not simple process. If that’s what you want to do then research on google/ YouTube first

      Cheap and cheerful but does the job

      Bought this specifically to pump out the DPF additive. Approx 500cc per stroke, so only took approx 10 pumps to remove 4ltrs. I could have left it to syphon, but the height difference was small and flow was slow. Easily and fully dismantlable for cleaning. I have only tried the wide-gauge red tubing, not the narrower tubes or adaptors.

      Oil change

      I brought this to do a quick oil change on my car as I couldn't be bothered to jack it up and drain from the sump also I needed a different socket so it was between this or the socket which was the same price lol this surprised me it did a good job it was a bit flimsy at first as I didn't wanna pump it to hard and break it but it did the job and fairly fast took me about 5-10 mins to get the old oil out bare in mind I didn't want to break it so I took it slow and steady but overall it was great value for money and did what it was suppose to do well worth every penny
