    Pretty impressed

    I've found the doorbell pretty impressive up to now. It seems well made, with the black cover on looks good, and the image quality is surprisingly good, easily fitting in a view of my whole driveway. I've found motion detection surprisingly good with little false positives. Negatives are that the security screw for the battery is quite fidly and the pre-roll video quality is horrendous

    Very dissapointed

    Very easy to set up but I've still got big issues with connecting to my wi-fi & getting the bell to actually work with any sort of reliability. I'm fairly "tech savvy" & have several other wi-fi devices in my home & haven't had any connection problems with those. I tried everything with my current BT hub 5 but have bought a BT hub 6 in the hope this would be better. But the RSSI reading I'm now getting is even worse than with the BT hub 5, although it does appear to be staying connected in the limited time it's been running. It seems one way of improving things is to buy a Chime Pro but I'm loath to spend yet another £50 to get the Ring Door Bell 3+ to work &, if it doesn't, what then! For what this thing has cost me, it should fly out of the box & just work but it simply doesn't, not for ...

    havent managed to fully set it up and it seems good but it says there is 30 day trial of ring protect and when you connect it up it says the trial has expired even though it is supposed to be a brand new item so not happy with that as I would like the trial to see exactly what ring protect does and if it is worth subscribing

    Great Investment.

    Straightforward instructions, easy to install and a cracking picture in both low light and in normal light. Customisable alerts with Alexa, better if you have an Echo Show and/or Echo Plus but the app and your phone work just as well. Note the instructions for mounting height, it seems low but due to the fisheye lens it works well. You will need to adjust the settings to find out what works well for your particular situation but it's worth it for the peace of mind.
