    Kidde 7CO Carbon Monoxide detector with batteries

    I ordered this item only yesterday, and it was delivered today by Hermes at around 10:30 am. Installing the detector was quick and easy, as the unit is fixed to the wall with a mounting plate that is screwed to the wall with the screws and wall plugs provided. My old CO2 alarm had stopped working, and I decided to buy the same brand of alarm. However, the screw holes were a little further apart than the existing screws, but I only needed to drill one hole to get both screws to match up to the mounting plate which was no problem. With batteries included and a 10-year guarantee, this alarm is excellent value and would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a new alarm.

    Useful, required standard for narrow boat.

    Neat and easy to fix on the wall. Meets requirements for narrowboat. Good loud alarm when we tested it. Fortunately hasn’t been activated yet and hope it won’t ever need to be! Good that it lasts for ten years, much longer than our previous one.

    Good value complete with batteries

    This is purchased for use in our motorhome and while we never expect to hear the alarm, it's a necessary safety item. It's the first time I've bought one of this manufacture and it is easy to fix, appears well made and I think replaceable batteries are a preferable option. The usual test button works well. The instructions are clear and comprehensive and overall it's a good value and pleasing purchase.

    Peace of Mind

    This device is easy to install - just placed it on a table top (or you can fix to wall). A flashing green light lets you know it's working. Other than that, you see and hear nothing - unless you press the 'test' button, which emits a sound loud enough to wake you up.
