      Silver brazing of small stainless steel items.

      The kit contains a small bag of flux powder with instructions on its use. 2 silver brazing rods. I practiced with small pieces of stainless and got the silver to wet the stainless on my first attempt. Sufficient heat is critical to success. I used MAPP gas with a fine torch flame,

      OK but misleading phito of product supplied

      Seems OK but the picture of the kit was misleading as far as I am concerned. The flux was a small quantity in a plastic bag and one short stick of silver solder. The product picture should show you exactly what you get for your money.

      BRAZING BANDSAW BLADES

      Bought this for repairing snapped bandsaw blade's but they didn't work. I cleaned & ground the joints at 20 degrees to give more brazed area but every joint snapped. I bought 55% silver as this is what silver content is needed but didn't work. Tried all different ways as well as instructions. Maybe sent the wrong silver content who knows

      A great piece of kit. Just add a blow lamp!
