Despite this my order arrived complete and undamaged.

It could not have been packaged any safer. It was inside a big box inside an even bigger box. It had packaging all around it including foam tubes and styrofoam blocks, additional cardboard and also that white foamy wrapping paper. I'm really impressed with the bonnet.
