    item as described, good quality item, you will need to remove the upper velcro pad from the base plate to be able to get to the screws at the pointy end and then refit the pad. Its atatched by velcro so it's easy.

    Expensive fix.

    Great product, BUT why do we have to buy the whole base plate instead of just the velcro pad..A cheaper brand of SANDER could be purchased at a similar price.! At least it's working again.

    a lot cheaper than a new sander

    My sander plate broke and i was about to buy a new sander when i did a search online and found you could buy replacement plates. It was an easy fix and has saved me money as there was nothing else wrong with the sander.
