After having listened to Christopher Hitchens debating on the many failings of organised religion on YouTube, scoring against his hapless opponents in terms of knowledge, reasoning and sparkling humour, I did 'listen' to a little of the audiobook on that channel. However, whenever I truly enjoy a book, I prefer to own a physical copy rather than an electronic one. In this case, it's not just so I can pause to contemplate more fully his wonderfully rational arguments at any point, but also because it helps put to memory those beautifully-delivered one-liners which help to repel the next unprepared 'botherer' that knocks on my door. An excellent read for atheists and religious types alike.

I absolutely love Christopher Hitchens , he was very articulate with his speech and writes in much the same way . He is extremely detailed in his reasoning which is not a bad thing , however, it is not an easy read .... you have to completely switch off and engage all concentration into what you are reading in order to understand the points being made. Think it would probably need at least a couple of reads in order to take it all in.
