THRUST : THE STORY OF AN ENGLISHMAN WHO NEVER TOOK "NO" FOR AN ANSWER.
This is the incredible story of a man who built a team and a world beating record car in circumstance that created immense problems the were at times impossible to recover from. Having had some first hand experience of attempting to do a similar task, it is impressive to say the least. Richard Noble's utter determination gave him the ability to carry on despite the odds. In another life, Richard would have been a Spitfire pilot in the Battle of Britain, a cavalry officer at Balaclava, or a Knight Templar!! A supreme example of victory over insurmountable odds.This is the incredible story of a man who built a team and a world beating record car in circumstance that created immense problems the were at times impossible to recover from. fantastic value for money
bought this book to add to my collection of John Cobb sadly died trying to break world speed record on loch ness in 1952 , Richard Noble is to add his autograph to the book which will sit with John ccbbs book and signature at our hotel on loch ness the Clansman hotel . book is in great condition and very lucky to get this book very reasonably priced .
