This guy has seen it all, done it all and worn the tee shirts, well the waist coat anyway! About life with one of the greatest rock band on the planet from the sixties til now. I have read it on kindle and now I have the book. What’s not to like? A great read!

Recommended for Quo fans only - a fairly uneventful summary of the rise of the band from humble beginnings at Butlins in Minehead, the transition from psychedelic to one of the world's greatest rock and roll bands. Very praiseworthy of other band members with some background to a difficult working relationship with Alan Lancaster. Drummer John Coghlan barely gets a mention. Otherwise a relatively uncontroversial history of the band with a lot of obvious love and empathy for (and frustration with) the great Rick Parfitt. Get the feeling some rock'n'roll anecdotes have been kept under wraps. Clearly the exhaustive drink and drug years took their toll but an interesting and honest read nonetheless.

A great insight into Status Quo from their humble beginnings to the present day. I have been a Quo fan since 1968 and have followed their ups and downs but there are some surprising revelations in the book A thoroughly riveting read. Recommended
