The best box set version of this amazing series!
A quick review for those trying to work out which version of the Angel box set to get! It took me ages to track down this set (blue box, flip top lid, booklet, five series sets) but totally worth the hunt. Box set presentation is excellent, looks great, picture quality as originally presented, no adverts etc and is a perfect partner match to the brown Buffy box set. If you can find this version... Get it!A quick review for those trying to work out which version of the Angel box set to get! I’d never watched the TV series up until a few months ago, but after watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer I had to watch this. It’s very good; dark in places too, and also comedic in parts. The main characters all engage and “bounce” off each perfectly. When I saw the Collectors’ Edition of the complete set of DVDs come up for sale I just had to buy it. It’s amazing!

This series (as a sister series to Buffy The Vampire Slayer) is a mixture of action, humour, mysticism, and intrigue as Angel battles various demons (metaphorical and otherwise) in his quest to repent for two centuries of bloodlust as the vampire Angelus. Along the way, he hooks up with various demons, spirits, and vigilante heroes as he struggles against all odds against the forces of evil. This season also deals with Angel's origins in Ireland and his subsequent rebirth as Angelus, "the demon with the face of an angel". This box set collects all 5 seasons of Angel and is a 'must have' for collectors of quality TV. This makes a great companion piece to the Buffy box set that was released (collecting seasons 1-7 of the Original series). If you have any taste, you will buy this. See ... If you love Sci-fi and Fantasy this is a must. The Spin off series from Buffy shows our fearless Vampire hero in search of a purpose. The boxed set features all 5 series. there is a special edition box set which opens up so that each series makes up a part of Angels' face this looks really cool but the box is only card so is prone to easily being damaged so makes sure the sellers box it well otherwise what you see in the picture may not be what turns up. I loved this when it was on the TV so had to have it when it came out on DVD. Ebay is the best place to buy it as places like Amazon even discounted want £80 for it. A good average price on ebay is around £40-46. Happy viewing. And if you like Angel then your sure to like the original series Buffy which is avaliable on ebay regular in one ...
