Its a DVD and it works so that'll do for me.
well I bought the DVD because me and the missus are beginning to run out of DVDs that we haven't already watched. Overall I would say it is a good product as it has a disc that can me put into a DVD player and you can watch the film, this is as I expected so cant complain. As far as I'm aware all DVDs do that so it doesn't matter what you get, you will still be able to watch it. As far as recommending it to a friend goes I probably wouldn't, i would be more likely to lend them my copy, and it is a similar story with buying it again, why would I want to if I already have it?well I bought the DVD because me and the missus are beginning to run out of DVDs that we haven't already watched. Not so good!
I was recommended this film by a friend, but after purchasing and watching! I didn't really find it funny! and then when it starts to get good! well that's the end of the movie!

Not because of Ben Stiller...!!
My title reflects my feelings towards Ben Stiller - can anyone else believe the hype behind the stupid museum movies at the moment..?! - any way Heartbreak Kid.. - kind of from, the 'meet the parents' stable of Stiller movies, only a tad more grown up..(really wouldn't recommend you sit down to watch this with your kids..) strange film to review actually - because it is difficult to put it into a recommended category, ultimately it is a comedy, but with a fair old amount of swearing and nudity.. (again Malin Akerman (silk spectre from the watchmen film) sheds her clothes as Stiller's perfect in the beginning new wife, but as they start to relax on the honeymoon, the real personalities of the pair begin to come to light. i remember watching the film thinking, could i put up with Akerman, is ... (again Malin Akerman (silk spectre from the watchmen film) sheds her clothes as Stiller's perfect in the beginning new wife, but as they start to relax on the honeymoon, the real personalities of the pair begin to come to light. i remember watching the film thinking, could i put up with Akerman, is it actually Stiller that has the problem here, but i not sure even i'd put up with the tirade of abuse that stiller gets, just for trying to put cream on his new wifes sunburn, (one moment though that made me laugh out loud..) while on his honeymoon he meets someone else (bridget moynahan - tom cruise girlfriend/wife in mission imp 3) and decides that, damn it, he has married too early and she is actually the girl of dreams, confusion reigns as moynahans family (on the holiday with her too) believe that stillers wife has recently passed away, (while she is confined to her room with sunburn..)and let him join there family unit, where he attempts to woe his new found love, while keeping his sun burned wife out of the way... i guess though my main problem with this film was/is though, that stiller is such a unlikable character in this film, you wonder why either of the woman fall for him at all - and actually why even Eva Longoria (cameo appearance..) would lower themselves.. so it does have quite a satisfiying ending....
