Signed photo arrived creased as was put in flimsy packaging without a card backer along with Cd, the photo was just put in bare without any plastic protection allowing the Cd to rub against it causing damage as well as the damage Royal Mail caused ( although not their fault ) sellers fault through lack of proper protection. Sellers response was not good at all telling me if not happy send it back!!!!!!!!! I paid a lot of money for this EXPECTED BETTER.

A welcome return.
This is not radically different to "his" albums of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and you should not expect something groundbreaking. However, in my opinion, it is consistently good. The "new" singers suit each song. The production is very well considered and does not try to be radical. The songs are good. I even think Eric Woolfson would have approved of the first track's instrumental interpretation of The Sorcerer's Apprentice and also of a later track, owing to its Chicago like overtones. I particularly like One Note Symphony and As Lights Fall although the jury is still out for me on some of the The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I am not going to say if The Secret is better or not as good as some of the earlier albums since everyone probably has a preference. (For example, for me, side 1 of ... Ranks as one of the great Alan Parsons albums
I've waited a long time for a new Alan parsons album and it was worth the wait. For me this is vintage "project"! Superb music and all those little touches that are typically Alan Parsons (voice overs at the beginning of a track and at various other parts of a song which made me smile with pleasure as this is what makes Alan parsons albums so unique. I have to say that I'm not keen on "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" as it hasn't a Parson's feel but the highlight is "I can't get there from here" which must ranks as the most beautiful piece on any Parsons album.I've waited a long time for a new Alan parsons album and it was worth the wait. For me this is vintage "project"!
