  • GOOD PAIN < COVERED WELL ,NICE CAN PRESSURE

good paint , covers well , not the fastest at drying , used it on Yamaha XJR1300 engine side covers , would say a bit more silver than alluminium in colour , only used part of a can ,

  • so easy to use

goes on really easy and covers really well, but dont overload with paint as it can ruin the finish when you cure it, curing is a bit tedious but results are very good, one can goes a long long way,all in all very good.

  • Buy something else

Sprayed my motorbike engine casing with this stuff and I can't say I was impressed. Prepped the casing before applying and the finish looked pretty good. A few days later I went for a ride on the bike and going the paint was worn off with my now silver boot. I then rubbed to casing with my finger and the paint came off with very light rubbing. I now need to repeat the job with another spray. I'm not sure if it was a duff batch, but I would not recommend this particular product.

  • Be careful

You must be careful with this stuff. It is a proper enamel and needs to be heat cured for a proper durable finish. It's meant for engine blocks where engine heat will cure it. Otherwise you will have to bake the painted object in an oven. Without heat this paint is very fragile.

  • Product does not harden easily if at all.

Good looking finish out of can. But even after 2 months on a 500 cc Honda engine normally used the paint has not cured The finish is soft, marks easily and any solvent washes it straight off. I've overcoated some areas with a light coat of Hammerite smooth silver just to get some durabity. My advice is to avoid.
