Convenient for home use
I love these bc they are just like the dipsticks used in a doctor's office to screen urine for common abnormalities. I have tons of health problems as a result of a rare genetic disease so it's really convenient to be able to do this at home periodically so I can either bring a positive result to my doctor's attention (I have so many medical conditions going on that it would be easy for me to not even notice several of the conditions these strips screen for) or inform him that certain possiblities have already been excluded if I am symptomatic. It just saves time. My poor doc already has to do 2 or 3 times the work with me as he would a normal patient. LOL I already knew how to use these bc I used to work in a doctor's office, but do read the instructions carefully. If the urine ... I love these bc they are just like the dipsticks used in a doctor's office to screen urine for common abnormalities. These are the exact same strips used at clinics to tell if a woman has a UTI. I got sick of testing negative every time I went to the health centre, certain that this time it was a real infection. For about the same cost as a single health centre visit, I now have 100 quick-dip tests to do myself, which spares me the embarrassment of looking like I'm crying wolf and the hassle of going to an urgent appointment when I'd much better benefit from the sleep. The strips are easy to use and interpret, though I am a registered nurse myself. Always use; always reliable
These are the same as used by your GP. Accurate and reliable, I use them to check for UTI's. Follow the instructions exactly, make sure the lid is firmly closed immediately after taking a strip out, and keep the tub in a cool place, and you'll be well-informed beforehand should you need a trip to the doc.
