Quality But It Slips
I have a number of dollies with a wooden platform. The disadvantage with this dolly is that the polymer platform is slippery and provides little grip of the load. I loaded it with a few plastic boxes containing a reasonable weight, pushed and the dolly - though on a smooth surface stayed where it was and the boxes slid off with great ease. I then attempted to move a heavy exercise bike with the dolly under one end and the load again slid around the surface of the dolly nearly colliding with freshly plastered walls. I will solve the problem with rubber matting or similar. The orange coloured grip circles are too small to be effective. My beef is that a newly purchased tool should not need modification to achieve its intended purpose. What I received was well made but had a fundamental ...
