Brilliant
My husband is a joiner, and has laid thousands of various types of wooden flooring over the years. We reused some engineered oak that we had from some time ago for a smaller living room, which is on the second floor of our house. My husband asked me to review (we never ever do), as he was so impressed with the quality of this product. Easy to use, and he said there was no waste as your given an extra bit of some sticky thing (can you tell I didn't use it and have no clue what he's on about) so he didn't have to waste any like with other brands of underlay. It's made that living room warmer and the noise level heard from the main living rooms underneath that one has dramatically reduced. So 5 stars. Oh and it was the cheapest one I found anywhere. super sticky but abysmal low quality weak flimsy foam
whilst the surface is super sticky the quality of the foam is terrible. so weak that the slightest touch against any surface tears away a layer of sticky gunk and the foam disintegrates. I mistakenly purchased this in hopes of using it as a tack layer with carpet tiles on top of a laminate floor but it is PERMANENT and if you're a single milimeter out you cannot peel back and adjust it - you have to cut out the piece and start over. I've been laying quality floors for over 30 years and I can safely say this stuff will never be touched by me or anyone working for me EVER AGAIN. In summary, despite this seller being the cheapest, as far as the item and its quality or total lack of it is a highly overpriced weak as s**t roll of garbageVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product
I found this product fairly easy to use but it would be better if the film that requires pulling back was split into thinner strips. It was beneficial to put a knife through the film so that you don't have to pull back the whole 1m width in one go. Once I sussed this, it was a breeze to lay. A starter film is also provided to get the process started. I could have done with two of these so I ended up cutting it in half.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Takes some practice
Beware that whilst one side of the backing film won't stick to the adhesive, the other side will - instantly! So you have to be very careful when peeling back the film to ensure the reverse side doesn't come into contact with the adhesive. The technique I settled on was to peel the backing sheet right back and ALWAYS use the extra sheet of film provided for every board. This extra thicker sheet is non-stick on both sides so makes the whole process less fraught.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
