Perfect Fit and Finish
I, like others, was under the impression that these would come off going down the road. Not the fronts but the rears. It wasn't until I realized that the inner steel ring is about a millimeter or two smaller than the circumference of the lug nuts by design. They are initially difficult to get on. Understand that they need to fit flush against the wheel before they are installed correctly. If it appears that one side is higher than the other, it is, and isn't down all the way. I used a thick towel, bundled, as a buffer and a rubber mallet and worked my way around the cap. Don't be afraid. These caps are much tougher than you think. This method worked perfectly for me and didn't make a single mar or scratch in the chrome finish. Once done, you'll realize they're on much tighter than you ... fits great. a worthy replacement for factory caps
These seem like they wont fit at first. I got a rubber mallet and a folded up bundle of shop rags so i wasn't hitting directly onto the cap and hit it with purpose.. You have to give it a good solid hit each time and once they are flush its a winner! They go on easier after that and still hold strong.. Im very pleased.
