Best pocket radio ever, and I've had lots of different ones. Can even be set to receive FM signals all the way down to 64 MHz to listen to certain college and institutional radio stations as well as some wireless headphone transmitters.

This radio is very convenient as the small size fits the pocket admirably. The digital tuning means the radio does not drift away from the station selected. The volume wheel is slightly recessed so that it is not moved accidentally. When first operating the radio, selecting the FM bands was not explained completely in the enclosed instructions but a message to the supplier quickly sorted out that issue. All other functions ie time memories, etc were simple to master. The radio was purchased with a specific use in mind and it is fulfilling all of those requirements completely. I have recommended the radio to a number of friends who were most impressed with the performance, size and quality of the unit. Highly recommended.

I am a longtime pocket radio user. I listen to sports and news while biking and hiking as well as working around the house. I listen to both AM and FM. I've been a user of the SONY pocket radios that I used to buy in Japan. The SRF-M90, M95, M98, I've had a bunch. But when I could not get them without spending a lot of money I went looking for an alternative. I found the Sangean DT-120 and it performed well as a radio, but the fit and finish was not as good and the controls were weird. Also, the memory buttons all broke off! So when I came across the DE115 I was intrigued. It looked good but I could not find a review so I took a chance and bought it. It arrived quickly and my initial reaction was positive. It's a little bigger than the latest SONY's and it takes 2 AAAs instead of one. It's fit and finish is ALMOST as nice as the SONY but it's better than the plasticy Sangean. The controls are a little weird and the memory function is complicated, but it works and the reception is as good as any little radio I've had, which is to say, it's very good. I appreciate the analog volume knob and the snug 3.5mm headphone jack. The buttons do not get accidentally pressed in my pants pockets. All in all I've been pleased so far.Read full review

I have been searching for tiny fm radios for years. I once had an FM only Radio Shack headphone-only radio whose thickest part was the AAA cells that powered it. Sony made a credit card sized one that was apparently only sold in Japan. This seems to be about the smallest currently available. I do wish it was half the thickness and powered by a 2025 coin cell, but nothing like that seems available. The search goes on.

This is the second one I've bought; so impressed with the first. One for work, one for around home. Buy one [or two] you won't be disappointed.
