Highly adjustable, easy to put on & really works for me
As soon as I put it on I felt a sense of relief, my knee felt far more stable & slightly less painful. Since wearing it I have noticed a lot less pain in my knee & able to move it a lot more. It also washes well in a laundry bag in the machine & I am also able to wear it in the swimming pool too. It is easy to put on as you don't have to drag it over a sore knee & the adjustable velcro straps mean you can get the exact fit. Over the years I have tried different kinds of knee support such as tubigrip & open patella tubes, but this is by far the best I have found for me. Absolutely awful.
I bought this to help me with support and pain relief after dislocation of my patella. This product is a joke. First of all, it's nearly impossible to get on, but worse than that, it IS IMPOSSIBLE to get off. I am 5'1 and of slim/normal build, and this thing is just awful to try to remove. It sticks to your skin and nips you at the back where your knee bends, most uncomfortable to wear. Impossible to kneel or squat down. It feels like you will dislocate your knee when you're trying to get it off. The hinges squeak when you walk. Awful. Just awful. Don't bother with this product. Honestly, it's a complete waste of time and money. And you're quite likely to do yourself some damage when trying to remove it!! Knee support for pain management after running
I purchased this knee support to see if it would help ease the pain in my knee following jogging sessions, this has been an ongoing problem for around three months and worsens after each run. So far the support has made my knee feel more comfortable, but I’ve not tried running again yet. I’m hopefully going to give it a try after a further three days of rest from running (10 days in total) and wearing this support. I’m also using a foam roller to help ease the tightness in my hamstring, which is probably related to this pain. I have average sized knees and this is a good fit. Slippery strap
The strap is very good value and great quality. If you can get the two parts of the top strap to stay in place [the upper strap, top of knee, parts from the other and the padded section goes above the other one!], this is a fantastic strap. I use it for when I'm cycling and my wife wears hers for running. We will make an in house adjustment and try and attach the two straps with a small section of Velcro, so that they don't come apart. Will update if it works or not.The strap is very good value and great quality. I have a rare Genetic Disorder that makes all of my joints not only hyper mobile but my ligaments and tendons extremely loose, which causes a huge amount of pain and lots of dislocations...with my knees and lower limb bones at most risk often. Until now I’ve been relying on uncomfortable and heavy supports and braces, but these are just perfect for stabilisation of my patella AND securing the stretched ligaments behind my knees.... No more bulky unhelpful braces! And, they were such good value I bought more and now use them in the hydro pool too.... Thanks!!!
