TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
 
1) DAMAGED ITEMS/ WRONGFULLY PURCHASE ITEMS
 
A) All Hornet articles are in brand new condition and in almost every instance will arrive to you in such condition. All items are finished in a coating of black paint for additional protection. Upon dispatch they are thoroughly wrapped in bubblewrap and packaged in a cardboard box for added protection. However, despite this and due to the nature of the items and the nature of couriers there are rare instances where the items may become damaged in transit. In some instances there may be slight imperfections or scratches to the paint, as this is a purely cosmetic problem and does not affect the performance or application of the exhaust in any way, we do not constitute this as a reason for return. If the item arrives seriously damaged then please contact us immediately and we will sort out a replacement item ASAP.
 
B) In instances where the wrong part has been ordered and you have attempted to fit the exhaust to the car we will not be able to accept the return. If you are unsure whether a specific item will fit your car then please check with us prior to purchasing and we can confirm whether the exhaust will fit.
 
2) DISPATCH/ DELIVERY TIMES
 
A) Most items are dispatched next day when ordered before 11:59pm. However, occasionally when the “3 day courier” option is selected, we may withhold the item for an additional day and then send the item out on a 24 or 48 hour delivery service. The item will still get to you in the same time, it may just be dispatched a day later.
 
B) We cannot pass on delivery-specific information to our couriers. When purchasing the item if you leave your phone number or email address a text or email will be sent to you upon dispatch containing your delivery information. From here, you can track your delivery and also select items such as leaving the item with a neighbour or leaving the item in a safe place in case you are not able to receive your item.
 
C) Once the item has been dispatched we will not be able to change the delivery address without incurring an additional delivery charge. If you wish to change the address after the item has been dispatched we may be able to do so, however the fee will have to be paid by the purchaser.
 
D) Please be aware that due to the size and weight of our parcels that for some postcodes in Scotland there may be an additional charge to the postage cost. Please contact us before purchasing if you're unsure whether you may be effected by this.
 
3) GENERAL INFORMATION
 
A) If you are planning work on your car we recommend that you wait until you receive your item to make sure that you are 100% happy with the item and happy that it will fit your vehicle before you begin any work. We cannot be held accountable for any financial loss if you book your car into a garage and the item doesn’t fit your car.
 
B) With our universal exhausts please be aware that they are not designed as a direct fit for any car and therefore may require additional parts or modification. We ideally recommend that your exhaust is fitted by a fully qualified mechanic.
 
C) All of our exhausts are sports/performance exhausts and should be treated as such. This means that you will notice an increase in noise from your vehicle which can vary depending on the vehicle you have. We cannot accept returns if you consider the exhaust “too loud” for your vehicle.
 
D) Our exhausts have been developed mainly for race and competition use. As such, they have not been emissions and decibel tested for road use. In most circumstances, the exhaust will be fine as long as used in conjunction with an additional silencer such as your existing centre silencer. However, we can offer no guarantee that the car will pass an MOT.
 
E) Please note that when replacing your original exhaust with an aftermarket or performance exhaust part that your fuel economy may be affected.

    Straight Fit, Sounds Great

    Came delivered, well packaged with 2 Clamps. All wrapped well in clingfilm, no damage at all. Only ended up fitting the back box as wanted to keep my central silencer in so it wasn't too loud, and now I get an nice, deep, burbling sound. With the silencer, it's not too loud and doesn't pop really, but seeing as I drive at unsociable hours that's a benefit for me as don't want it to be too loud. Perfect, straight fit, no problems going on, sits perfectly under the Zetec S rear diffuser, no need to cut a groove for it.

    Perfect fit, pops and burbles, nice tone

    Fitted easy in half hour with a stand, sealed up gasket, hung it up, sorted. Good value for money, arrived a day early, good quality, not loud but people know your coming. Not sure if my hangers are different but I didn't have to cut my rear bumper as it hangs just below, (looks clean) Doesn't supply gasket so if you want a new one you'll need to get that seperate aswell as exhaust sealant and spare rubber hangers if needed.

    BROOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!

    I am still EXTREMELY impressed with this product! I've had it on the car for just over a year and never get sick of the grumble that the exhaust has. It even lets pedestrians and other cars know you're coming down the road. So all round, everyone is safer :) and the car sounds awesome!!     Pop an bang

    Nice looking and sounds great with a bit of popping and banging here and there. Only 1 problem is the back box part needed a little heat bending in to place to fit properly other than that all good so far.

    Sounds and looks brilliant!

    A proper head turner, a lovely growl on start up, cruising has a wicked hum and it does pop, bang and crackle from time to time. A quality exhaust, sounds and looks great and a fantastic price. I highly recommend this exhaust.
