    Z axis tool setter is priced just right for the quality. Functions well and good weight. Very well made.

    This is for the Precision Z axis Tool setter. After a few hours of searching, reading forums, and even tempted to make my own, I finally found this; and so glad I did! Considering what is available out there from $50 to $400, this is by far the best bang for your money. Great craftsmanship, finish, AND AMERICAN MADE. The price is just right for this. (other $400 brands are waaaay overpriced for the quality and design) This thing has some heft to it. It feels solid in the hand. The serrations on the sides add peace of mind when handling because of the weight of this tool. I treat like any other precision instrument I own; by not letting others borrow it. I really appreciate the attention to detail. Functions great and is pretty to look at. Makes me want to 3D print a case for it!

    Professional Quality - Made in the USA

    I am very pleased with my APM tool pre-setter. Initially I was reluctant to spend this amount on a tool pre-setter but I am so glad I did. Once I received it, I quickly realized the price is more than fair. The quality is outstanding and after a week of use, it is a pleasure to use. It is easy to calibrate, if needed, using 1-2-3 blocks. This tool will last me my lifetime. If it doesn’t, it’s my fault!

    Great product

    After running 2 jobs using this after my cheap tool setter died, I am very pleased with this. The angle and size of the dial face makes reading a much easier task than the old cheap, chinese box setter I was using. Running this on my 4020 I don't have to bend over to see the face. Save's my back and saves me time. It's really well built and seems to be very repeatable. I only wish they offered this with a Mitutoyo dial indicator, but the SPi isn't horrible. Overall I would recommend this to anyone out there that doesn't have tool probing on their mill.

    An exceptional example of design, engineering skill and function.

    The quality of the workmanship that has been attained with this gage is truly exceptional. Not only is it a functional setting gage but to me it is a perfect example of fine engineering by someone with great skill and attention to detail. I can say that because I have worked in a toolroom, as a commercial and military aircraft engineer and also as a metrologist in a measurement laboratory. Thank you so much for producing a gage that I will appreciate every day!
