Makita do live up to expectations, and this tool is no exception. The job light is quite useful, and the drill is handy for those hard to reach places due to its compact size. Performance is practically comparable to a 500 watt corded drill even when drilling in metal and masonry. The lack of a trailing electrical cord is very convenient and it really comes into its own when the electricity supply is distant from the worksite, or not available. Battery life is also impressive (using the 4Ah version). Given the weight of the tool, the usefulness of the toolclip is however rather doubtful, otherwise there is little to gripe about.
