Like the long date life, marked on each battery. Have been using this brand in low current applications for a long time (remote controls, car remote fob, cooker ignition clocks and kitchen scales) This brand has never leaked.

i bought the Alkaline batteries for the use of mt thermostat , did not pay much more for these as i would a normal AA battery , they are more longer lasting , but are much safer to use as they wont leak , so i would recommend these

20xAA alkaline batteries
i.m going to run them in my retro look bush TR130 radio. they should run as long as some rechargeable AA batteries in a converter. one advantage is they are lighter than PP9.
