Unlike most Smartwatches sold today, this one does not require a smartphone to function. These watches come from a period prior to Americans' interest in watch phones; so please don't be a dolt and keep that in mind while comparing it to smartwatches being released for US retail in 2015. The watch/phone uses the same UI as the many cheap iPhone clones; so NO downloading apps or playing 3D FPS games will be happening (note: there are some watch phones being released now with the same physical appearance but with earlier versions of Android,,,of course the price is also increased). So here is a list of the things I like about the watch: 1.) Stand-alone 2.) Affordable 3.) Removable battery 4.) A LED flashlight on your wrist is handy (look for the two holes between the buttons on the side, not all have it) And of course the list of faults: 1.) Such a small Resistive touch-screen can really be a pain to operate (some work fine, others can be nearly unresponsive. This particular watch didn't register swipes for days, then all of a sudden started to work,,,,well,,,,80% of the time 2.) Bulky when compared to major brand name smartwatches. Sits high on wrist, which makes it hard to wear under a long sleeve shirt. 3.) Proprietary charging cable. Yup, you lose the cable, you are S.O.L. These cables are not Mini or Micro USB but a generic multi-pin plug where only 4 pins out of 12 slots are used; so if you order a similar cable for a replacement, there is a very good chance the pins are in different slots and you have a useless cable in your hand. Bottom Line: A great emergency back up phone, but not exactly showoff tech for a market that "finally" recognizes the use for such devices.Read full review

I think this is a very nice watch, not to mention an incredible smartwatch! I would've given it 5 stars, but the face is too small for me! l.o.l.! and anybody who wears an Invicta watch will fee the same way. Oh, and the other problem I had with it, that contributed to it's 4 star rating, is that its not enough apps in the playstore for it!l.o.l. I know, that's not the watch's problem, but without these apps, your smartwatch is just an expensive conversation piece! and it's really fun to show people what it can do! and honestly, it probably does more, I just haven't tapped into the full potential of it yet! Overall, it's an exceptional timepiece and no one timepiece is the same because you make it the way you want it! I'm actually shopping around for the SONY SMARTWATCH 2 now, and once I get that, i'll probably list this one on e-bay so others can enjoy it too!Read full review
Unable to go into setting to set alarms. I have an older model that sync with my CDMA Android phone and allows me to sync my alarms from my mobile device. I will be returning it.

I love my Sony Smart Watch MN2SW it has everything on it that I need from a quick game of 21 or Tick Tack Toe to looking at the planetarium or getting my telephone messages or listening to music. There are other watches out there that are similar but none that can compare. If I get to far away from the phone it lets me know. I can check Facebook or get my missed calls or I can let someone know that I'm busy just by tapping my watch. It is worth the money.
Its nice, very usefull but you have to learn how to safe battery. It would be nice to have more apps, and you Could need a better phone for using it properly.
