TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
 
1) DAMAGED ITEMS/ WRONGFULLY PURCHASE ITEMS
 
A) All Hornet articles are in brand new condition and in almost every instance will arrive to you in such condition. All items are finished in a coating of black paint for additional protection. Upon dispatch they are thoroughly wrapped in bubblewrap and packaged in a cardboard box for added protection. However, despite this and due to the nature of the items and the nature of couriers there are rare instances where the items may become damaged in transit. In some instances there may be slight imperfections or scratches to the paint, as this is a purely cosmetic problem and does not affect the performance or application of the exhaust in any way, we do not constitute this as a reason for return. If the item arrives seriously damaged then please contact us immediately and we will sort out a replacement item ASAP.
 
B) In instances where the wrong part has been ordered and you have attempted to fit the exhaust to the car we will not be able to accept the return. If you are unsure whether a specific item will fit your car then please check with us prior to purchasing and we can confirm whether the exhaust will fit.
 
2) DISPATCH/ DELIVERY TIMES
 
A) Most items are dispatched next day when ordered before 11:59pm. However, occasionally when the “3 day courier” option is selected, we may withhold the item for an additional day and then send the item out on a 24 or 48 hour delivery service. The item will still get to you in the same time, it may just be dispatched a day later.
 
B) We cannot pass on delivery-specific information to our couriers. When purchasing the item if you leave your phone number or email address a text or email will be sent to you upon dispatch containing your delivery information. From here, you can track your delivery and also select items such as leaving the item with a neighbour or leaving the item in a safe place in case you are not able to receive your item.
 
C) Once the item has been dispatched we will not be able to change the delivery address without incurring an additional delivery charge. If you wish to change the address after the item has been dispatched we may be able to do so, however the fee will have to be paid by the purchaser.
 
D) Please be aware that due to the size and weight of our parcels that for some postcodes in Scotland there may be an additional charge to the postage cost. Please contact us before purchasing if you're unsure whether you may be effected by this.
 
3) GENERAL INFORMATION
 
A) If you are planning work on your car we recommend that you wait until you receive your item to make sure that you are 100% happy with the item and happy that it will fit your vehicle before you begin any work. We cannot be held accountable for any financial loss if you book your car into a garage and the item doesn’t fit your car.
 
B) With our universal exhausts please be aware that they are not designed as a direct fit for any car and therefore may require additional parts or modification. We ideally recommend that your exhaust is fitted by a fully qualified mechanic.
 
C) All of our exhausts are sports/performance exhausts and should be treated as such. This means that you will notice an increase in noise from your vehicle which can vary depending on the vehicle you have. We cannot accept returns if you consider the exhaust “too loud” for your vehicle.
 
D) Our exhausts have been developed mainly for race and competition use. As such, they have not been emissions and decibel tested for road use. In most circumstances, the exhaust will be fine as long as used in conjunction with an additional silencer such as your existing centre silencer. However, we can offer no guarantee that the car will pass an MOT.
 
E) Please note that when replacing your original exhaust with an aftermarket or performance exhaust part that your fuel economy may be affected.

First of all really fast delivery. Second was the exhaust was wrapped for protection. Third, I’ve had after market exhaust systems before for a previous mini and the join for the middle section pipe was located directly below the cross member bracket making it awkward to get at and a vibration problem. This exhaust mid section was cut a little longer so that it was easier to access. Great product and nice sound. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Great sound and good quality.

    Had this fitted to my R50 C and the sound is amazing reasonably loud but a good note esp on tick over- can be made to give nice burble & pops with a remap. Looks the part with the tail pipe size. Really happy with it so far 1 week on although the stainless tail pipe does heat discolour a litte to a light tinted brown. However still a very good product at a good price. Highly recommended.

    Drone

    Bought this and it sounds good, perfect fit BUT it drones like hell at certain revs, I was expecting some droning on the motorway but it drones at low revs also...from 1700-2000 revs, which is very very annoying can barely hear the radio (or my misses😂). I’m not saying it’s bad or anything, it just needs a resonator(which they don’t sell 🤷‍♂️). Good exhaust, nice sound but I would recommend get a resonator for it.

    Hornet 🐝

    My race system was delivered within 48hrs! I wasn’t sure about this company because the price seemed to be really cheap. However it’s an incredible system. I was updated all the way through dispatch process. It’s really easy to fit and is wrapped and protected well. It has a lovely tone to it at low revs it’s pretty quite but gets louder the harder you push the car! An all round excellent experience and I would highly recommend these guys. For reference mine is fitted to a Mini Cooper R50. 10/10 from me!
