    Really good thread repair kit - gets the thumbs up from me

    I had the bad fortune to have the thread strip from a cam cap that secured the cam cover when I checked the valve clearances. I had one previously repaired by a specialist, but this time decided to repair it myself. I did a bit of on-line research and v-coil was well respected, it's made in Germany and is of known quality. The repair was very easy really, the kit had all the basics required, I just had to use my drill and tap-drive tool. The repair has done it's job very well and now I have loads of threads to repair any other accidents.

    over the years i have bought various recoil kits, this is by far the best i've come across, reassuringly made in Germany and comes in a well designed hard wearing box, if i need anymore in the future these are the only ones i'll use, excellent quality.
