      Perfect upgrade for those stuck with 9mm dropouts on their fork!

      When you combine this 9mm thru bolt, with the 15mm to 9mm adapter from MTB Tools, you have the perfect upgrade to the standard 5mm QR skewer. As long as your wheel can use a 15mm thru axle you are golden! Makes your front wheel a ton stiffer in the fork! Definitely recommend this!

      qr it is not!

      No quick release at all! Do not assume the red button is some sort of quick release- I have yet to figure out its purpose! This skewer also is not a true ratchet. It takes ten or so turns to tighten it down, while holding the nut (and turning it simultaneously, till it bites). But once set, it is a solid hold, oh yes! To release, the reverse must be done, and if you have it on good n' tight, it is hard to get it started. For its strength and relative light weight, I think it's a good purchase
