TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
 
1) DAMAGED ITEMS/ WRONGFULLY PURCHASE ITEMS
 
A) All Hornet articles are in brand new condition and in almost every instance will arrive to you in such condition. All items are finished in a coating of black paint for additional protection. Upon dispatch they are thoroughly wrapped in bubblewrap and packaged in a cardboard box for added protection. However, despite this and due to the nature of the items and the nature of couriers there are rare instances where the items may become damaged in transit. In some instances there may be slight imperfections or scratches to the paint, as this is a purely cosmetic problem and does not affect the performance or application of the exhaust in any way, we do not constitute this as a reason for return. If the item arrives seriously damaged then please contact us immediately and we will sort out a replacement item ASAP.
 
B) In instances where the wrong part has been ordered and you have attempted to fit the exhaust to the car we will not be able to accept the return. If you are unsure whether a specific item will fit your car then please check with us prior to purchasing and we can confirm whether the exhaust will fit.
 
2) DISPATCH/ DELIVERY TIMES
 
A) Most items are dispatched next day when ordered before 11:59pm. However, occasionally when the “3 day courier” option is selected, we may withhold the item for an additional day and then send the item out on a 24 or 48 hour delivery service. The item will still get to you in the same time, it may just be dispatched a day later.
 
B) We cannot pass on delivery-specific information to our couriers. When purchasing the item if you leave your phone number or email address a text or email will be sent to you upon dispatch containing your delivery information. From here, you can track your delivery and also select items such as leaving the item with a neighbour or leaving the item in a safe place in case you are not able to receive your item.
 
C) Once the item has been dispatched we will not be able to change the delivery address without incurring an additional delivery charge. If you wish to change the address after the item has been dispatched we may be able to do so, however the fee will have to be paid by the purchaser.
 
D) Please be aware that due to the size and weight of our parcels that for some postcodes in Scotland there may be an additional charge to the postage cost. Please contact us before purchasing if you're unsure whether you may be effected by this.
 
3) GENERAL INFORMATION
 
A) If you are planning work on your car we recommend that you wait until you receive your item to make sure that you are 100% happy with the item and happy that it will fit your vehicle before you begin any work. We cannot be held accountable for any financial loss if you book your car into a garage and the item doesn’t fit your car.
 
B) With our universal exhausts please be aware that they are not designed as a direct fit for any car and therefore may require additional parts or modification. We ideally recommend that your exhaust is fitted by a fully qualified mechanic.
 
C) All of our exhausts are sports/performance exhausts and should be treated as such. This means that you will notice an increase in noise from your vehicle which can vary depending on the vehicle you have. We cannot accept returns if you consider the exhaust “too loud” for your vehicle.
 
D) Our exhausts have been developed mainly for race and competition use. As such, they have not been emissions and decibel tested for road use. In most circumstances, the exhaust will be fine as long as used in conjunction with an additional silencer such as your existing centre silencer. However, we can offer no guarantee that the car will pass an MOT.
 
E) Please note that when replacing your original exhaust with an aftermarket or performance exhaust part that your fuel economy may be affected.

    Great exhaust

    This is a great exhaust I have had it on the car now for a week great sounding nothing too loud like there straight systems they do but does sound nice. The build quality is worth so much more than £155 really easy to install I managed to take my old one off put this one on and cut the back valance in under an hour. Have done a couple of motorway journeys it dose drone when your accelerating but if your at a constant speed its pretty quite sounds great in tunnels. If your looking for something that pop and bangs all the time this isn't for you. Would definitely buy of these guys again great prices quick delivery and it was packaged up good aswell with loads of bubble wrap and padding.

    vroom

    i got one of these for my vw beetle v5, was quite easy to fit. i fitted it at home only just a pair of ramps and a few tools. it does fit pretty well and its just tucked under the bumper out of the way. noise: it is loud but on mine it is quite a nice race style burble sounds, had a few muffled pops too. id say its a bit too loud for every day use but hey it is a straight pipe lol. my plan for it is to cut off the back pipe and replace with an after market silencer. that should quieten it down a bit but still leave it with a nice sound.

    Insane exhaust!

    Absolutely fantastic exhaust, fitted on my MK5 golf 1.6fsi and it sound incredible. Easy fit sit in the OEM place of the GTI! Only one bad thing is that there’s ALOT of cling film lol! Other then that I would recommend this too anyone due to the shear price and quality it is! Check it out on my instagram @_souul

    Best bang for your buck!

    Arrived quickly, really easy to fit! As long as you have the equipment to do it safely. Took me just over an hour an half, but I had to fit a new cat also. Lovely sound, when in higher speeds, it can drone a little when under throttle but on the whole unit unpleasant. Really has added to the performance too.

    Great Value!

    Perfect fit with no issues, had to cut bumper slightly but that was expected still an overall very good fit. Nice and quiet grumble under gentle driving and idle that doesn't bother the wife or kids and nice much louder sound under load. Responsiveness has noticeably improved over standard exhaust system too. Overall 10/10 would recommend.
