No Emergency Yet!
I was asked to do a review but since this is an emergency item and (as yet) there hasn't been an emergency, the review therefore cannot be exhaustive. I bought this for use as a possible sleeping bag cover with a minimum weight penalty. (When carrying camping and radio gear to mountaintops, sometimes you can't lug the proper kit.) Weight is 130 grams (per item) and it is large enough to swallow most sleeping bags if you can cope with a bit of condensation. Protection will be superior to a space blanket and it will provide a windproof barrier. One of these should be routinely carried by every mountain and fell walker as part of their emergency equipment, should the worst happen. I'm happy with these.
I haven't used the product yet. However they do fit the product description and there is plenty of room in them to but you may and sleeping bag if needed. They are foiled backed so should be better than your standard orange plastic bag. Hopefully I won't need to use them.
