It was a friend's address in the UK, and she will be bringing it to the Isle of Man for her father, who lives here. Royal Mail will not transport loose batteries, but this lady will be able to bring it with her hand luggage onto the aircraft, when she travels over next time. That is perfectly legal. It seems Evri (Hermes) are agreeable to transporting them, but Royal Mail refuse this service.
