Stiamo parlando di Whitney Houston e del suo album "Whitney" che con più di 20 milioni di copie vendute nel mondo la consacrò come una delle artiste più famose del periodo. Un album in pieno stile pop-dance anni '80, a cominciare dalla coinvolgente e trascinante "I Wanna Dance with Somebody", hit mondiale (#1 in tantissimi Paesi tra cui USA e Italia).     Vintage Whitney!

    I bought this cd as I hadn't heard it for ages and used to have it originally on vinyl when I was a little 12 year old. It brings back memories of singing in the mirror with my hairbrush! It is still as great as it was back then and the tracks definitly hold their own, some may sound somewhat dated, but with Whitney's vocals you never really realise as her voice is such a fantastic instrument. Obviously the well known tracks like 'I wanna dance with somebody' is on this cd amongst a few other released tracks of the time. This album is a mixture of uptempo and ballards, which Whitney puts her heart and soul into! Definitely recommended and definitely one of her classic albums! Vintage Whitney at her best!

    Whitney Houston - Whitney (CD 1999) This is Whitney Houston, when she is as best! This cd contents most of her best tracks and I love the ballads, but this cd have a nice mix with pop and ballads. this is a most to every cd collection! Highly recommended cd album!
