    Great factory style crimp and great price.

    Took me a few trial tests on dummy rounds to get a feel for how much pressure would be too much etc and once you figure that out after pulling a couple to check the projectile it's easy and puts a nice clean factory crimp on it. Much easier than a tapered or roll crimp on the seating die. Also putting a light crimp on the rounds add some peace of mind. Definitely glad I got this, crimping separately makes things a lot easier !

    What can I say other than Lee makes a great factory crimp die and I own one for every caliber that I reload (9mm, .45 ACP, .45 Colt, 556/223, 308, 300 Blk and 762x39

    Lee .308 crimp die

    This die is a must for auto rifles. It works great and is very easy to set up. It makes a beautiful crimp but you do need to have all your cases cut to the same length. I would recommend this product. The only thing I do not like is the lock ring with the O ring. It seems to move when installing the die and all adjustments have to be made again. I put a lock nut off an old RCBS die and now when I am ready for the crimp it is always set up and operating correctly every time I put the die in the press. Now no more hassles adjusting the die.

    Factory Crimp

    I have used roll crimp, tapered crimp on my A 10 and they worked reasonably will but when I tried the Lee factory crimp it became much more consistent and groups tighten up. A little is better than a lot, it is easy to over crimp with this die.

    these crimp dies are excellent

    I use Lees crimp dies on all my reloads from .380 and 9mm to .45 acp I use them also on all my rifle loads from .223 and .270 to .308 and 30-06 they are EXCELLENT and with that crimp you get constant start pressures I HIGHLY recommend them I shoot around a thousand rounds per week on my own range I use these dies A LOT You can even match grade cheaper factory ammo with them
