Fristaden LLC eBay page talks about company being US and I did a search for a scale made in the US and this company came up, but when the box arrived, the sticker on the box clearly states the scale is made in China so be aware of that. So far seems to be precise and if there are any problems in the future there seems to be good customer support. I am also glad this was on the affordable end as I won't be weighing anything heavy.
