    Massive power for a Walkingstick

    I am a martial arts aficionado, I am well-versed in many styles of self-defense, at first I found this thing to be unwieldy and awkward but with a small amount of work I figured out how to make it into a very effective defensive tool. Not to mention it's also a Walkingstick and it was nice just to lean on it when my knee got tired :-) I would recommend this for a larger size person there are different sizes and models to suit your needs.

    Not as good as you would think.

    For some reason, mine stinks. And not just a little. The Oder makes me gag. Makes my hands smell if I handle it. Next, it is too heavy and to fat to carry with any ease. And that stupid cheap ball head cover is ridiculous and popped off when the cane fell over. So I ended up cutting down the head to a somewhat natural looking blackthorn. Another issue with this heavy monstrosity, how in the world could this ever be considered a defense cane? I guess the makers figure you can swing it like a bat to fend off attacker’s. Anyway this was a bad purchase for me.

    Great company great item.

    This company is wonderful. Because of a house fire, my brain is not where it should be. I placed the order and forgot to update to our temporary housing address. I emailed the company and they explained that they could not change the address because of PayPal, but we could cancel the order and then I could order it again. So I go to PayPal and add in the correct address, but I forgot to make it the default address, so had to cancel the order again. The next order I did everything correctly. Each time I contacted them they were wonderful and understanding. We got the order very fast and in exactly the one my husband wanted. He is very happy with it. He does Renaissance Faires and he needs thing that fit the look at period correct, and this one does perfectly.

    After just one month.

    The light colored cap almost "popped" off after I dropped it. The fit between the cap & the stick was poor, from day one. I was surprised the the stick didn't come with a rubber crane tip. The body horns were much smother than in the picture.

    Meh. It is definitely not bad.

    I was expecting better finish. The wood grain ball looks like just what it is, a piece of hard plastic set in a polypropylene fake stick. It is not terrible and I would have felt better if I paid about $10 - $15 less.
