NOT WEATHER PROOF!
I bought this 7 months ago in order to help shelter the strays in my area, from the bad weather & then rehome them. It definitely wasn't worth the money. Straight away, the door flaps stuck up inside the doorway so far that it didn't block out any bad weather around that area. I tried bending it back straight but it was pinned to the inside of the shelter in such a way that it just kept popping back. Even when held in the right position, the plastic left a couple of big gaps as it had clearly not been cut to the right size. Just 5 months after purchasing, the wood all around it was bowing, cracking & splintering away, right up the full height of the walls. Just days after purchasing, I noticed that rain water from the wet ground was starting to soak into parts of the base of the shelter, ... I bought this 7 months ago in order to help shelter the strays in my area, from the bad weather & then rehome them. It definitely wasn't worth the money. As it's evidently not been treated for such use and therefore is no use at all against the elements.

The cat loves it.
I have given this a 4 star rating because it would have been easier to keep clean if it had a lift up roof. This is used inside a shed. Don't know how it would fare outside but the cat loves it.

Good wind shelter, but not very warm
It’s nicely made but the wood is so thin I have my doubts about how warm it could ever be. It does work very well as a shelter from the wind and rain but I don’t think it would retain any body heat from the animal with such thin walls.
